As the co-founders of Transformative Leadership, we began our leadership careers in the automotive industry. It was there we experienced first-hand the need for mentors and effective leadership, both personally and professionally. We discovered that many leaders in corporate America were expected to lead without a clear understanding of what true leadership meant or looked like, causing outrage, being pissed off and feeling completely unsupported. This lit a fire in our souls for developing conscious leaders and creating lasting, positive change in businesses and society.

With over a decade of experience in strategic project management and a background in the automotive and software industries, Emily has honed her expertise in business and leadership development and problem-solving. Her passion for unlocking the full potential of organizations and individuals drives her commitment to fostering conscious leadership and cultivating a culture of problem solvers.
Throughout her career, Emily has managed projects and programs from inception to implementation, leading enterprise initiatives, driving customer success, and overseeing budgets between $7M and $15M. She has successfully collaborated with cross-functional teams across leadership, engineering, design, accounting, and finance departments, delivering over 93% of projects ahead of schedule and under budget.
Emily's extensive experience has equipped her with a deep understanding of various project management methodologies, including Six Sigma, Agile, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing principles. This diverse skill set enables her to develop tailored solutions for clients, addressing their unique challenges and goals.
As a co-founder of Transformative Leadership, Emily is dedicated to helping organizations save money, operate efficiently, and create a culture of empowered employees. Her specialties include leadership development and training, business operations, manufacturing production lines, cost savings, efficiency improvements, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and PDCA. Growing up in a blue-collar family with a mother who never graduated high school and a father who is a farmer, Julie's resilience and determination to succeed were apparent from an early age. Refusing to settle and always aiming higher, she learned the value of hard work and persistence from her parents. Her stubborn and driven nature motivated her to prove the naysayers wrong and forge her own path to success.
During her time in the automotive industry, Julie's primary focus was on making a difference for her team, fighting for their interests and ensuring they felt supported. Her unwavering dedication and tenacity helped her rise through the ranks, and she sacrificed her time and social life to meet the challenging goals and targets set before her.
Over the last five years, Julie has committed herself to personal growth and development, attending leadership seminars, retreats, and exploring various healing modalities. This journey of self-discovery allowed her to realize that her true calling was to combine her passion for healing and personal development with her expertise in transforming corporate cultures.
With seven years of experience in manufacturing leadership, Julie is a proven leader with a track record of driving continuous improvement, quality assurance, and on-time delivery. Her accomplishments include reducing scrap savings by half, resulting in over $100,000 per month ($1.2 million per year) in savings for a single product line in the facility.
Julie's educational background includes a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and Supervision, with a minor in Sociology from Purdue University. She also holds a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Krannert Business School.
